Further growth at the RO with appointment of new Head of Property Management
The RO is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Carey Smith who joins RO Real Estate as Head of the Property Management team. Ben has over 10 years post qualified experience in property and asset management across all sectors with a particular emphasis on Grade A offices and retail.
Ben joins following a five year spell in Jersey, Channel Islands where he held the role of Associate Director for BNP Paribas Real Estate, managing a small team responsible for commercial property management in Jersey and Guernsey and supporting acquisitions and disposals across a portfolio in excess of £100 million.
Prior to working in Jersey, Ben was London based for 10 years with roles at JPW Real Estate, Capita Symonds and King Sturge, working on commercial, residential, out-of-town retail, shopping centres and leisure assets for a broad range of major funds, private companies and family offices.
Ben is a Chartered Surveyor, having gained a BSc (Hons) in Land Management from the University of Reading and is an active member of the Reading Real Estate Foundation, currently acting as a mentor to an MSc Real Estate student.
