RO Real Estate is delighted to announce that it has completed a new lease to OSRL at its Southampton development; Waterside Place, situated on the harbour harbourront at Town Quay.
This letting adds to an already strong tenant line up including the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, the NHS and EV Cargo and brings the estate to 100% occupancy for the first time since a comprehensive refurbishment of Building 3 and the associated landscaping was completed.
Having undergone substantial refurbishment, the building benefits from a new air conditioning system, new lifts, a remodelled reception area, new shower facilities on each floor, contemporary outdoor amenity space, and bicycle storage. Consideration has also been given to a number of other sustainability and healthy workplace initiatives which have resulted in the building being awarded a 2-star Fitwel
accreditation.
RO Real Estate was advised by CBRE and Vail Williams, and OSRL was advised by LSH.
Ed Davidson, Asset Management Director, RO Real Estate commented:
“As this letting brings the estate to full occupancy, it serves as a testament to the quality of the refurbishment and this waterside location which is perfect for OSRL, given their role in mitigating the impact of oil spills on the environment, including marine life.”
David Kershaw, Group Real Estate Director, RO Real Estate commented:
“We are extremely proud to have secured the final lease at one of our Southampton properties with OSRL, the world’s largest international industry-funded cooperative dedicated to responding to oil spills.”
