RO Real Estate – The engine room
Ownership of property has always been the engine room of the RO, providing the rental income and the security to enable the diversity of interest that has always been in existence.
With a team that is highly experienced in property investment, development and management, the RO has come through the recession with a much stronger portfolio holding significant medium to long term growth potential.
We currently own or manage almost 1m sq ft of office, industrial, retail and hotels with the majority of assets located in the southern half of the UK.
Over the next decade there is a prospective development programme with a gross development value in excess of £200m. Some opportunities we will look to take advantage of over the short-term, such as our office building in Weybridge, where we have gained consent to increase the net lettable area by more than 50%, to other assets with existing income where development may not be undertaken for several years.
This again reflects our long-term approach to property, ensuring every asset has a clear business plan covering all aspects of management and development potential.
